Since it's been sitting I bet the seals dried up and the fluid leaked out.

Have you check the fluid level?

Yes i believe it leaks but it was not working right before when it was holding fluids that's y he parked it

Yes just not much power and u have to put fluid in it to move it. Also I think reverse is out

I wish I knew someone local that could just go through the works on it and tell me what I have wrong with everything. But people around here want to charge an arm and leg

It's obvious something wrong with it. and if you don't trust anyone to do the work - buy a re-man and put it in. You better be ready to spend some money, things aren't cheap.

I've found that out the hard way. But it's very special to me and worth it. I've got so manybgood memories as a kid in it plus not to mention that it's an awsome car and a one owner with all paper work window stickers manual..every receipt and all original

A good trans rebuilt may cost you close to 2 grand.

But hey thats all part of the fun!!
