Yessir! Every lil bit helps bro. I might use these on my SS. I gotta see if I have room for them on the El since I have the coolers mounted to the condenser...

Got a lil bit done over the weekend. To some it may seem like Damn!! Its taking a long time to get her fired up. But Im taking my time, learning as I go along and trying to document what Im doin. I'm in no rush to tear it up. LOL! But I could actually fire it up right now. Coil has been tranferred over to the HEI corrected cap. Plugs are gapped at .35. Plug wires are ran. Headers hooked up, power wire ran to the starter and on out to the alt. All wires for the alt are ran. I just gotta cap off all the other wires not needed in the harness, hook up the grounds and add fluids. I dont really need an oil cooler, but I got one. I need to drill into the frame so I can run/hide the 1/2" braided hose. Its lil things like trying to hide the hoses and run the wires really clean and tucked (and safe) is whats taking the longest. Since its a daily, things have to be able to stand up to the daily ride. A homie said just hang the wires over the trans and it will be cool. Naw... Im looking into different shrink wraps and methods of capping all those hot wires off safely. Thats what's taking so long. I wanna get this right the first time 😀 Of course there will be lil issues, but I wanna know I made the effort to try and stop any issues from happenning. No short cuts!!!

Goin at it late into the eve...

New plugs are gapped and installed. Had a helluva time with the #6 plug. Had to take the header back off to get it in there. Not too happy with the boot tho. Imma see if there's a "shorty" set of plugs, and if I can swap that boot to a 90 deg boot. the boots too close for comfort to the header tube..The wrap makes it a tighter fit..

I also installed my Dakota Digital water temp sending unit and oil pressure sending unit, ran the wire for the fuel pressure sending unit and taped it off clean like I had it on the SS. Valve covers, wire loom holders, battery box and other polished/chromed parts will be re-chromed after the motor is fired up. No need in purtying it all up during the install phase. Also..Im swapping the 200 out (which will be used later in my Malibu) for the built 700r and 2500 stall I have. I'll get to that later.. Other goodies coming are a fresh GM washer bottle and cap, ac compressor cluth cover and a few other lil knick knacks. Thanks for looking!! 😀
