I have never had any problems with anyone on this forum buying, trading or selling. I never ask for money up front but I always send money up front if I am buying. I never deal with any amounts that would cause me to loose sleep if someone failed to keep up their end of the deal, money isn't worth the aggravation it can cause.

Thats true, i was going to send him a 500 deposit which seemed fair considering 2000 for the car, he agreed so i figured a deals a deal.

That stinks that happened. I've purchased from several people on here (as recently as this morning) and never had a problem. It would be nice if the seller that did this at least said something on here.

Anyway, if you are still looking for suspension parts, one of my friends has 2 cars he is parting out, both Monte SS's. I've been over there and purchased a number of different things. I think the suspensions are all there, along with other stuff. He is on this board too - 91zconvert - message him if you are still looking. He won't screw you over.

If 87Cut1 is full of BS then why don't the admin/moderators just delete/block'im? IDK how these forums work on that side but if its possible then just boot'is *ss & save us the drama/headache/BS..

Well he really wouldnt get kicked off because it was a deal between the people involved and not in a direct connection with the site. Was he dishonest? Yes Can he be a trusted seller on this site ever again? In my opinion, no. However he didnt steal from anyone and hasnt been heared of since so i wish him no ill fate but do say that i hope people like that just stay away from the site on there own because there is always the matter of the "what if" we had sent him the money already. Would we get it back, or be screwed out of deposits and that is exactly what we dont need on a forum that relys on trust and community to make it fun

Short answer, buyer beware. That's why we have a buyer/seller feedback section. At least no money was lost on this deal, it could have been much worse.

I am trying to lower my car i have 2" drop spindles and 1" drop springs. 87Cut1a55 had all the ball joints, shocks, idler and center link so not sure if i need al of it but it was alll in a package so thought i would get it and replace it all. unless someone here has new balljoints and tie rods then I will prob just go to the local NAPA, i appricate the offers.

I am also looking for any tublar control arms new or used, and 2 or 3 inch rear springs. Anyone have any of those

I have a set of non-adjustable UMI upper rear control arms that have never been installed. I've been thinking about selling them and buying the adjustable roto-joint version instead. As bad as this story sounds....I'm of the belief that most people are honest...and, unfortunately, its just the bad apples that get all of the attention, which, in turn, makes it that much harder for the honest people to be trusted. If you become so distrusting of those around you because of one bad experience, then you are just making life harder for yourself.....just my .02
