Kirban , the buick turbo parts guy sells rebuilt complete units for $180 , I think they are the same for your Cutlass .
they use new plastic bits , maybe worth a look.

Yes for me it’s just the mast. They basically bent it and broke it off I’m assuming to open the door. I was wondering if I would still have to remove the whole antenna assembly to change this out.

Unfortunately, yes. The antenna mast itself comes up through the bottom of the tube. Once you have it apart, you'll see how it actually fits together.

I can repair it for you for $100 and return shipping with a steel push pull cable and not that steel braided cable that flexes and binds.
I've done quite a few of them for people, just did one yesterday.

I didn't find the antenna replacement to be that bad. It took some care but certainly not the hardest thing I ever did. Here is the write up.....
