The BBO W/Z manifolds will not fit. They hit the oil filter and adapter and other side exits into the frame. I used the Sanderson shorties which fit with even the big heavy duty 350/455 starter. The Sanderson headers are 1 5/8" primary tube and very similar to the FE3X prototype headers, that with a better Y pipe and ram air, it was worth 30 hp on the 307 HO swirl port motor.

They don't have to be big block but I saw a guy do it to his 307 on Facebook. I could be mistaken though, it may have been a 350. It's been awhile ago. Anyway I may just do some work on the stock exhaust manifold. I have a set of long tube headers but I'm putting them on my Salon.

I like those, I'm sure they flow way better than the stock manofolds
Yes, the tubular manifolds suck something awful, Olds even went back to the crappy cast iron regular manifolds on the 307 HO, they were that bad. Those JR manifolds with 2.25" duals and a H pipe should be big improvement over the awful stock set up.
