I need more light in the daily driver which uses 9004 headlamp bulbs. I see that several suppliers offer LED replacements that are much brighter and run cool but I'm worried about buying junk. Can anyone recommend a quality LED replacement at a reasonable cost?
I have never heard of an LED headlight circuit board running cool, the lite it self runs cool which doesn't melt the snow on the lens like an HID or halogen will...
I have something like these in my car. They are very bright, but with the led chips are on the sides of a board they split the beam. I plan to replace my LEDs with HIDs unless I can find an affordable 360* LED. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BA52XCG/?tag=gbody-20
I will add that the large black bulb in the capsule makes the headlight look black when not lit, maybe if it was silver or chrome it would work better.
