i received a 94 5.7 liter engine out of a bread truck.

Was just wondering if it was possible to drop this into my grand prix. If anything on this engine is able to be used if I changed rebuilt it with a carb

if you got it from a bread truck it's probably a crummy engine,..... 8)

It's a Chevy, so that goes without saying...

(It's a JOKE, people)

ok..so lets sweep the bread crumbs off that chevy engine and help the guy out....

if you were running a 305 then the 5.7 (350) will drop into place. The basis wiring is the same and it depends on what pollution control devises you had for the rest of the wiring. The 94 probably has a serpentine set up which works and there is an adapter that Napa sells for the alternator....

You could do it but it will cost you a lot of dough! get it?? HAHAHAAAA,,, sorry man couldn't resist.

Well I got the engine and transmission for nothing so but the engine isnt a serpentine set up but looks to be fuel injected so I was wondering if anyone knew if what I had to do to maybe hook up fuel injection or rebuild it with a carb and if i did this would it make worth while power. Either way either this engine or another one is getting rebuilt and going in my car.

if you want to do it easy and cheap pick up another intake for a carb and go that way.....

Thats what I have in my Regal. 95 SBC out of a truck. I rebuilt it and used a Performer Intake with Carter AFB. The difference is the Center Bolts on the intake are straight. Maybe if your lucky you have a roller cam.
