I'm trying to take out the lower A-arm pivot bolts and they are a pain in the buttox does anyone know any tricks that might help, I tried the lube and beat the hell method, any sugguestion will be appreciated.

if you have already let them soak in penetrating oil and that didn't work....you can heat them up to burn the bushing off (do both bushings) and then you'll have access to the split collar on the bolt.....turn the bolt so you can open the collar with a hammer and chisel and then you can drive out the bolt.....

Mine were jammed too. I had to cut the heads off with a cut off disc tool and drive them out with an impact chisel that I ground down to pencil size. The driver side rear was a real beast to get at.

well i don't want to melt the bushing so fire is out, and i don't have an air hammer to punch em out...so im going to eat some wheaties and a can of spinach and see what happens

If I were you I'd get some really good penetrating oil and soak it for a few days..and I wonder if a U-Joint remover/installer could be tried to push the bolt out...

my garage looks like a pb blaster flood came through it

I used a sawz-all with carbide blades to cut mine off...what a pain in the *ss. Using this method, you're still going to go thru blades. A cut-off wheel would be a good choice.

Cutting Torch works great, but man do those bushings smoke and burn!
