A/C and heater problem

So my A/C and heat does not work on my 1984 monte carlo ss. what should i buy and how do i fix this issue?

It could be a lot of things .. a little more information about the specific symptoms would help

ir doesnt blow bout hot air nor cold

Bad fan, bad relay, no power, blown fuse, bad ground? Test for power with the system on.

turn the fan on disconnect the plug on it get a test light and see if there is power going to the fan.

If yes u need a new fan motor. If no start with checking the fuse.

Test light

there will be a plug on the brass tab take it off put the alligator clip on the test light to the ground on the battery the put the pointy end into the plug.

make sure you turn the fan on.
