Do you have them as larger pics? I've been to this show for the past 6 yrs but had to miss this year. There's always a great turnout of G-bodies.

they should be larger in my gallery. Sorry I have no ideal why they are so
small in the post. The show was actually pretty lame this year. Maybe it was that hurricane IKE was looming off to the south or just the economy.
I've been to this show 19 out of the last 20 years only skipped last year
to go to St. Paul summer nats. I would say that with the poor showing of cars that this might very well be the last year of this show in springfield.
If i had to guestimate i would guess 5 to 600 cars not the 1,700 that was
advertised. they did have the World of Wheels Dyno finals, which was
quite cool. A 62 falcon and a 4 door rambler had almost 1800 horsepower
each.

Sucks to hear about the attendance down.. but I would blame Ike for the most part. Hope they still have it next year though.

I haven't seen this Monte in about 5yrs! Glad its still on the road.
