So I recently bought a pair of mid 80's Monte's that I plan on turning into one project car. The idea for the suspension/ stance is to lower it about 2 inches front and rear. The couple questions I have are one, is a 2 inch drop too much for the car without bags? Two is, If it is acceptable should I go with drop spindles in the front and new springs in the back, or new springs and stock spindles all the way around? The last question is, due to the weight of the engine in the front, is there anything special I'll need to do do to try to maintain that level dropped look?

P.S I'm not looking to put a bag set up in this car so if 2 inches is too much, I'll go less.

Thanks.

2" is fine whether its all springs or spindles/springs. My regal rides 4" lower with no issues. Exhaust clearance will be the biggest issue depending on what's on the car.
