I actually bought that same can at walmart to test that If I had an freon problem, after finding it wasn't the freon and It was going right into the danger indication of the gage I walked back into walmart got my money back and proceeded with the next step which corrected the problem with replacing the low pressure switch.
86Limited said:Sounds like your just out of freon and that could be why your clutch isn't engaging. If your jumping the switch and your clutch is engaging but not blowing cold air it might not be the switch and just low on freon. When I jumped my switch the compressor immediately starting blowing cold air again that's how I knew I had a bad switch. I also did pick up a can with the gage of R-134 just to double check freon reading and after checking and not needing I walk right back into walmart and got my money back.
