If you are installing the ac delete that is sold online (the one where you keep your heat), do you have to take your dash out.
Im trying to understand the difficulty level and I hope the dash does not need to be removed or is at least simple.

Are you referring to the one that retains the stock ac/heat switch? I have been thinking about just going that route instead of trying to hunt down a factory non AC setup.

Im talking about this one.
The directions tell you how to modify your duct for the non-ac.

I was planning on buying the controls for a non-ac on ebay.

I would love to take all the AC stuff out and fix my antenna, depending on the difficulty. Not to mention my heat is not currently working.

Dam, at that price you are better off finding a Non-AC setup.
I would imagine that the dash wouldn't need to come out since it's just the front cover however the AC box consists of 3 pieces and is somewhat intertwined.
There is an inner liner that is attached to the front cover just below the blower motor which is also connected to the rear half of the AC box.

My end game is to get rid of the AC tubes sticking out of that fiberglass housing in the corner of my bay.
Your right. Maybe this is not worth it. http://acdelete.com/pages/78-88_G-Body.htm

Advice.
Should I buy the cover panel from someone and then order my blower fan and heater coil separately?

What have you guys done?

I have the heater only box, blower motor, heater core, and the 2 piece top im selling cheap. Let me know if you are interested.
