I put a new compressor, accumulator, and orfice tube, i took the car to a shop they put in ester oil and filled it with r134 also a vacume test. I thought sence everything is new i would have a real cold ac like some newer cars i have drove. But it takes about five minutes to cool down and is on max cool and the fan on the highest setting and its just cool enough to keep me from sweating. I also bypassed the heater core to make sure that my heater control vale was not letting water run through the heater core thinking that was the problem but still no luck. I also put it a new fan clutch and a 180 thermostat so know im thinking that my vacume hoses are hooked up wrong i have 2 plastic hoses that go from under my passenger side dashboard to under the hood one black, other purple i have one going to the heater control vale and the other to a black plastic bubble and then another hose comes out of that to a vacume. Can someone tell me what color hose goes to the heater control vale and witch one goes the the black bubble. Are if you think you know why my ac is not that cold and i check the freon level with a guage from autozone and it said it was full.

Try putting the fan on low until it gets cold. You may be blowing off the cold before It can get there. Reverse radiator effect.

How much 134 did they put in? I'm no a/c expert but I believe the amount of 134 is differant than R12 needed. I think most shops will add and monitor temps will filling. I've heard too much 134 will decrease cooling but I'm not sure.
