any particular years or models? i have yet to see one on any gp but it would be something nice to add to my car....

From what i know it was any year and model, but i think they are kinda rare. I've only ever seen a couple.

equis gauges

I had equis gauges installed from orielly auto parts fit perfectly in stock location

I've had Autometer Pro-Comps in my dash for 10+ years (which I think is how old this picture is)

I wanted the center light cluster to match, so I took another Autometer gauge housing, cut it open and rebuilt it to incorporate the light cluster (shown here being bench tested)

Before I did the Autometers, I had blacked out the chrome trim on the stock gauges. If you have the 84' and older clusters with the white needles it gives them a very "VDO" look.

This one is with the blacked out gauge trim, and blacked out dash panel (and I had swapped to a Fiero steering wheel)

Another option is to just have the stock speedo rebuilt to read higher.

There is a speedometer shop that offers these on ebay from time to time, but just about any speedometer shop can do this for you.

I like the blacked out look you got there! I might have to give that a try. I think i am going to use a set of Sunpro gauges that look very similar to the factory gauges.

DSM that looks good. Is that a GP steering wheel (late 80's-early 90's)????

No, thats an 89 Trans Am wheel that was dyed to match. Late 80s GP steering wheels look the same, but the steering column in those cars is square shaped, so the back of the steering wheel is also squared off and it looks terrible against the round G-body steering column. The TA/Formula version is round where it meets the column, so thats the version you'd want to use. The same wheel was offered in the Bonneville as well, but I'm not sure which profile it uses.
