Back in the day when I had my shops and did radio one of my sponsors was Jacobs Electronics(I heard Chris later sold to MSD) so I had access to all kinds of way cool stuff as I visited his factory in Texas a couple of times. I also had scopes at my shops as I specialized in drivability. It is really hard to beat HEI ignition. You also have to be carful of RFI interfering with the ECM. These ignitions also wear on other items of the ignition system which leads to a dependability issue. In all honesty I do not think the end will justify the means and money
