I've been looking at these intakes and I'm wanting something different for more power. I've got a roller 350 mostly stock and I'm wanting to know if you think an airgap would be smart or not. I don't think it will hurt but I want some opinions, it will hurt low end alittle but help top end and I have real good low end now so I'm hoping this intake will help my top end some

Edlebrock Air-gap's are great there are 2 types performer RPM and performer so choose the one that will best suite you needs and future upgrades.

Yea I no I need to keep that in mind because I'm goin to do more mods in the future and I want the rpm intake but the rpm range is 1500-6500 and I like that rpm range more then the performance's idle-5500. But I'm afraid the rpm will have a dead spot till about 1500rpm, I don't see why it would really but it's goin to be on my everyday driver to

I think I'm geting the rpm, I've been reading about them and I think that one might be better to get

i run the RPM air gap i dont notice any dead spot below 1500 rpm. its great right out of the hole. it will be a litte more cold blooded in the morning though

Ok cool that's what I was looking for. I was worried of a dead stop or sumthing but now I'm not to worried

Im running the same thing on a sbc 388, to be honest if you have half way decent flowing heads you'll be passed 1,500 rpm before you can tell anything, but i don't notice dead spots at lover rpm either.

Ok sweet. I think it will work good for me

if you have enough hood clearance you could run a 1 inch spacer under the carb to increase plenum size and increase velocity that way I have and I love it.

I have a cowl hood so I have the room but I've never had them spacers work the best for me,they always seem to leak
