ok, i dont know about anybody else, but im sick of my tail lights. i want to do something different. i like the idea of the rear roll pan, but see too many with the corvette tail lights, even though they look great. i also saw some guy have a roll pan with no tail light cutouts and 96 deville tail lights mounted on either side of the tailgate, they were flushed into the quarters, they looked pretty sick. anybody have any other ideas or have done something themselves??? thanks!

About 15-20 years ago, there were a few people using 88-98 chevy/gmc truck taillights.

With the gobs of accessories as far as blackouts and covers, it's a good choice. Plus they are a dime dozen, and follow the body lines very well.

wow, your right, those look great, and a lot more variations than the deville lights. thanks alot, ill definately be looking into this.

would you know if theres a kit or if theres any instructions on how this is done? that would be awsome to the max. haha sorry i just saw futurama with the 80's guy.

alot people used supra tailights in mini trucks or you can use 90-92 fleetwood tailights there mostly clear my buddy using some in his hybrid s10

yea, there is a guy on ebay, his name is rareelcos. the roll pan he sells has two pictures, one is a baby blue el camino with supra tail lights, looks pretty cool. as far as a kit, other than the vette tail lights, i know of nothing. i think its a diy type of thing, im just way too nervous to start cutting my quarter panels, im not a great body work guy.

why would you cut your quarter panels ? i thought you wanted them in a rollpan . i ve seen that sellers store he sells fiberglass bumpers for g bodies.

yea i was talking about the fleetwood lights. i want to mount them in the quarter panels on either side of the tailgate. i looked into the supra lights, but i thought they were curved. would they still fit?

the supra lights would fit but only in the tail gate. thats were i would put lights. its easier to replace a tail gate then a rear quarter.

I have seen guys use 94-up S-10 pickup tail lights, they work great and are a better proportion than the fullsize tails.
