I kinda figured their demise was due to rust. Much like the Vegas' which were also notorious rust buckets. I guess the General was not intending for these vehicles to last for an extended duration.
not much has changed,last long enough to the end of the warranty 😏

Isn't that the truth, and the way it's always been. I guess it also depends on how well an owner takes care of his new vehicle...and if it's lived a sheltered life or not.

reminds me of something out of the first mad max movie... kinda like his wagon without the shell...


first thing I thought of... had a couple shovitt's when I was younger... beat the things like leased mules, and they kept going...
My dad loved his chevette unfortunately for him my brother and I sprouted up and hit over six foot and could no longer fit in the back seat and he had to sell it.
