another 78 cutlass lowering question

hey guys looking to lower the front of my 78 cutlass as it sits to damn high, ive been searching the web for a couple days now, and have a few questions that I cant seem to find, if I get 2 inch drop spindles, will I need to get new bearings because of the different size or will I need to get new rotor... or will I get away with stock replacement rotors, reason why I ask is I just bought new rotors, but not bearings

the inside bearing are all the same, the outside could be a small bearing in the 78 so why not take a bearing out and see if it fits the drop spindle.
