I put sheets down in the interior to protect when the cars sit outside... I'm more concerned with interior fade myself.
I restored my '85 442 cosmetically with a bunch of NOS stuff and repainted the bumper covers due to scuffs, now I'm afraid to drive it but I still do cause that's what they're meant for...
