Do they sell the spring part for the door hinges ? ?? do i need to replace them ??

The spring compressor is a must, I had to learn the hard way.

Me too after I shot a spring into my forehead a tool was a wise choice

I don't believe I've ever seen the spring listed. It's a pretty strong little bugger too.

Just be carefull, the springs are tricky. I threw this on the topic so others will learn, as a PM they won't see. If you decide to go with new hinges, I've got a good set of right side hinges for a Camino, if it helps you. They were from an '85 and I've been storing them since '87, so they're still nice and tight. I guess $55 plus actual shipping cost should be fair. PM me if interested.

IS my body shop doing this right ??

I went to the body shop today and he rebuilt my hinges , but it dont look any thing like stock,,
is my body shop doing it right or is bull ******** me?

as you see you used half bolt down and half bolt up, he told gm new improved part? any input ,,
and he told me the bottom hing spouse to have little play ??

please i need input
