door panels look awesome. I really dig them
The dash though, looks off. White is not a good color for Cutlass dash trim. Your best bet would be that aluminum looking trim some Cut's had. I believe gbodyparts sells overlays like that.

I think the combination of the dash AND the steering wheel is too much, um brightness? Is that the word? But like everyone else here I agree you have to do what YOU like. It is a very unique look, very custom and clean. I have plans for my 80 Bu that probably a lot of people will not approve of, but I don't care. I have to do it. If you like this look then that is what matters.

Other than that I like the rest.

Not to discredit anyone's opinion. Just that I don't think the pictures do the car justice. I believe if it were seen in person, people's opinions would change.

It's very well done and clean, and it looks sharp -- that's my opinion. The contrast with the black and white is outstanding. I get that some people might not like it for whatever reason, but I for one think it looks amazing, including the steering wheel and dash... especially considering how it looked before. :friday:

That may be it. It does look to be well done. But when asking for people's opinions, you may not always get the input you desire. That's all it is though - opinions. We should all be building our cars for ourselves and not to others' tastes unless resale is the only goal.

I like the black with the brushed aluminium look but I'm not super found of the white, but if you like it that's all that matters. I think the black works really well though.

wow diamond plate would sure be alot of work lol there a guy in my city that diamond plating his WHOLE truck, looks like a little toyota or something but none the less, every inch is diamond plate lol i think what i like most about this combo is how much of a contrast it has. A dark red or maroon might work.

Well, my first question is are you planning on changing the seats, carpeting and headliner to black like the door panel? If so I like how the door panel turned out and the dash looks good black but I think the accents have to much contrast being white and if I didn't know they were white I would have thought they were aluminum from the pictures, but maybe go with a darker accent color like a burgandy, dark blue or dark gray (gunmetal) ? Or just keep the white since it is your car. Oh, definitely no diamond plate.
