Most of my neighbours keep everything but cars in their garages. Many have the temporary pop up shelters. It is an odd behaviour. One even stores a huge boat next to their house - I mean we all have the space but...

I really want to build a car port next to the house for Winter to keep cars 4 and 5 out of the elements.

That's nothing, we got nailed last May with that "bomb cyclone". Winds peaked around 97mph at the airport, power went out, abandoned cars everywhere because you couldn't see your own windshield wipers, mass pandemonium ensued, and I got a day or 2 off of work. All was well as I was still able to buy beer.

And I'm not sure why anyone is concerned about your teeth, they say it hurts resale but you're coming free after all so wouldn't anything be profit?

I give you guys up there a lot of credit. We get a good amount of snow usually and when I was young I really enjoyed it. Now not so much. Since I moved into my house Ive plowed all my neighbors driveways with my little tractor/plow. Used to be fun. Now Ive cut back to mine and the guy right across from me. This year we were lucky. Two small storms and the snow was gone before I could do it. My kind of Winter !!!!
