Apple Valley, Minnesota
so i live in MN and i had to put my Malibu away and now im sitting around with no car and nothing to do because the garage is taken by my dads project a 1956 chevy pickup so idk what to do im goin crazy.... i need a hobby

Still driving mine, not for too much longer though, winter sucks. But I found another hobby......Jeeps. Year round, go anywhere, snowmobile trails are a riot (before they open for the season  ), if you miss the quickness of the car  , pull the front driveshaft out put it in 4LO, and go have fun. Nothing like boiling 33" tires at 50mph shifting into OD  (gets you through the winter). Also, snow covered roads and parking lots are fun as well.

I just picked up a pathfinder 4x4 for the winter so that should be kinda fun....I was getting a BMW for the winter but he forgot to tell me about a little issue with the transmission.... :?

No winter in texas  Still trying to figure out why there are so many g bodies in canada and in the northern US

i just picked up a 84 k10 4x4. hoping to put some 33's on it for the winter if i come across some money. I dont want to go any taller than that cuz then i'll have to change the gearing. pretty pointless with half ton axles. might do a small lift maybe. we'll see. should be fun in the snow though.

best part is the drive it like you stole it sticker and the neon around the dash haha

i wish i could live somewhere warm lol but im stuck here a least for only one more year the i get the freedom to go anywhwere warm and drive my Bu all year round 😀

I have Nokian tires, limited slip, and lift bars. I drive it all year long (I don't know if I should be happy or sad about that lol).

All of my cars are in storage except the one that I'm driving.
It has only been a few weeks, and I'm already getting antsy wanting to work on them.

It wouldn't be a problem at all if I had a warm place to work on them over the winter... :x

Actually I built mine FOR the winter. I POR15'ed and undercoated the whole bottom especially the rear ,gas tank, spare tire well, and lines. I have a set of real snow tires and positraction with a manual transmission so I go in the snow pretty nicely. Being a wagon I get called on to do all sorts of BS like transporting snowblowers and such so I need a workhorse for the winter. If it gets so bad even I can't handle it, my Daughter has a Jeep Cherokee with 4WD.

My Malibu wagon was awesome in the winter.

Good snow tires on the back and two 60 lb bags of sand in the back and it made it through everything, including some 8" snowfalls...
