Instead of wasting good money on sand I make my wife and mother-in-law sit in the back. As a bonus all the hot air keeps the rear hatch window defoged.

i just bought my cutlass last month, so i have a winter project to keep me busy, and ihave an 89 blazer 4.3L TBI that i use as a daily driver. i live in iowa and i made it through last winter just fine with 4X4 and bauld tires. got the same tires on her this year, and i'm hoping to be as lucky...

i bought my blazer two years ago when i was 16. it had brand new body work done to it by a novice, though he did a pretty good job, he just used cheap metal. it had a fresh paintjob too, i love that truck to death, but last winter i managed to find some pretty bad rust on his new body panels  and now i have to drive her again this winter  ... that is unless i can get my lesabre back from my sister.... that has brand new tires on it from before i bought it last sumer, and it doesn't have any rockerpanels to rust out because they've all ready done that

that pathfinder I bought is friggen headache trying to get parts...I had to replace a little voltage regulator that's installed behind the cluster to get gas and engine temp gauges to work..$54 dealer item.....and now I can't find a left hand emergency brake cable except at a dealer and they want $120 for it.....I even had a problem finding rear brake drums and I need 2 adjusters which I can't find anywhere....and the fuel mileage for this gutless v6 sucks...

I'll be back later to remove this post cause as soon as the winter is over I'm selling this awesome vehicle... 8)

No problem at all for me. After having a company car for over 30 years, I had to drive my Camino daily this past spring and summer. Fortunately, I just picked up a clean winter beater, an Olds Intrigue with FWD and ABS. Considering my El Cam has seen more sunshine and more rain this year than the past 15 years, I'm tickled to see it spend the winter clean and warm in the garage. Maybe I'll find the time to assemble my 5.7 and have it emerge from the garage in spring with some newfound muscle.

I spent all summer building a heated garage so I could work on my cars in the colder months. I was actually kind of bummed out that the project was eating all my time and money, and I didn't get to do much automotive work this year.

But it was about 30 and sleeting out today, and I was in there most of the day working on my daily driver. So I guess I'm good 😀

I had to replace a v belt in my pathfinder and it took me about 10 times as long as it would take me to change the serpentine belt in my GP....this pathfinder is the first j* car I have bought and it'll be the last
