Anyone seen this hood?

Did you like the look? I honestly figured there would be pics on google with Monte's having them. I randomly came across it when looking at hoods and it caught me off guard because I've never seen any Gbody with one. My curiosity peaked when I couldn't find no pics online of it on a Gbody.

I didn't care for it originally which is part of the reason I let the car get away from me, but the more I looked at it I liked it on there.

Yeah, I like the nice smooth lines, maybe the flat black looks way better than a gloss colour. Just less in your face than the cowl hoods.

I had an L88 hood on a 71 Camaro that lasted about a week until my 15 year old brother snuck the car out when I was at work and the front wasn't fastened down.

One day my aerocoupe will have that hood. If I could have found someone that sold it when I bought my 4" cowl I would have just went that route.

20 yrs ago I bought a 81 Monte that had that scoop put on the factory hood, whoever put it on did a crappy job, but sure liked it at that time. Wish I had pictures of that car!

Playing around with an old plastic L88 scoop. My hood is pretty much toast, so I might screw this on while I save up for a steel cowl hood....

Had the l88 hood scoop on my 84 El Camino and loved it but it only lasted week since wrecked the car and had to put a stock hood back on it till I buy another one.

I think the L-88 hood "blister" would look at home on an El Camino with a Grand Am front clip (looks a little like the Trans am shaker hood scoop to me).

That ad shows an L-88 hood but describes a cowl hood. Check out a Stinger hood, Yenko used alot of them.
