Anyone seen this hood?

I did actually see a Monte SS with this hood, it was a car I was working on buying early in my search. Still regret not getting it, but it was a very strange hood to me. The car was like the Impulse Blue of my GTO with that scoop being black. I will have to look and see if I have pics from the emails I sent the guy, but think it may have all been shown on craigslist.

Did you like the look? I honestly figured there would be pics on google with Monte's having them. I randomly came across it when looking at hoods and it caught me off guard because I've never seen any Gbody with one. My curiosity peaked when I couldn't find no pics online of it on a Gbody.

US Body Source lists the L88 hood in their Camaro section but not in any of the G-body lines. Must be a special made part for Andy's.

That'll do fine. I appreciate the pics. I pondered on getting that hood but I'll probably stay flat or go 2-2 1/2" lol.

No problem. I'm not crazy about that hood or the scoop on my Monte. Lol. A traditional cowl induction hood is hard to beat.

US Body does list it for the Cutlass but I do feel it will probably look out of place on a Gbody.

the L88 hood looks great on a Corvette with it's lines but on a square car like a G body I'm with 565bbchevy that it won't look right

Well l like the L88 hood on a olds, not so much on a Malibu or Elcamino. I've had them on a 75 Cutlass supreme, 73 stingray and a 78 Z. The only dislike l have for them is that they collect water. But each to there own!

So obviously you like it, I personally have never seen one on a Gbody so do you have any other pictures of the whole car from different angles not just the hood?
