I have one of those too (post Korea) with a '43 '03A3 & a Dec '18 M1917 that is dead on with it's like new original to it barrel.

Theres a place out here on LI that sells Garands. Ive always like those but I need something lighter. Especially now since my necks so screwed up. Its hard to hold the rifle up due to muscle loss in my arm. Same with shooting a 12ga. We shoot at a private sand pit at a nursery. Ive been going there since I was 19. Used to go down there and shoot everything from clays to old propane tanks and gallon water jugs. Lots of fun. I usually bring my favorite shotgun. A Winchester Defender. Years ago I could shoot all day. Not a box or two and Im done. Then we switch to .22s. My daughter has a blast. LOL

That is an awesome collection. 03A3 is on my list as well. I could have bought a good one a while back and passed on it. Now I'm kicking myself.

CMP still sells them reasonably

Thank you so much, my friend for your understanding and open invitation. I'm glad to see that some of you guys saw that I was not trying to be malicious, only inquisitive. I know this can be a touchy subject, especially in today's turbulent times.

I'm still mad!!!
