I wouldnt say they are completely junk. I guess people have different experiences or just by word of mouth that a certain part is junk. My 7.5 open rear hasn't exploded yet behind a buick 430(bored 40 over) with 455 heads and a few performance parts here and there. In stock form this motor makes 360hp and 475 torque so I really cant say.
