I installed a new astro van shft into the Malibu last weekend. It does tighten up the steering a bit (I guess my old one was pretty good) I can hear the hiss of the hydraulics in the steering box now. It's quiet and you have to listen for it. I like the noise.

I got the steering shaft today (Monday 2nd).
Looks good going out now to put it on.
Not in the mood to paint the underside yet.
