AT THE MOVIES: Top Gun- Maverick

Skipping reading this thread to avoid any spoilers to something good and pure as far as entertainment goes.

Going to pace myself after finishing Ghostbusters: Afterlife last night and walking away with all the feels.

Let's hope they leave the franchise alone now.

Went with my daughter on Sunday to see it. I agree, a good movie with only a little cheese. The big screen makes the action better. I had to point out the couple of differences in the movie, without giving anything away, let's just say that the romantic interest was still driving a Porsche, but different model. This is a car forum after all! 😆

Super movie.
If you ever worked on the flight deck of a carrier it’s an experience you’ll never forget. Especially night operations.
We were based at Alameda Calif. NAS attached to USS Hancock CV.19
Spent 2years at NAS Barbers Point Hawaii.
We were the only prop squadron on the ship and flew air support for the troops in Vietnam.
Navy 1961-1965
Not bragging here. The Navy did a lot more for me than I did in return.
