Hello everyone, I want to replace the terrible speakers in my 87 Regal. I listen to metal so there is a lot of fast double bass going on, someone said the 3 1/2" front speakers wont cut it for that so they recommended putting it in the door panel. Is there pre-made door panels that I can buy and pop the speakers into? Or would the 3 1/2" front speakers be fine for fast double bass? I wanna swap out the rear speakers, get a new deck, a sub or two (thinking two 10") and the amp. Anyone want to recommend me a good setup for this? How is yours set up?

I was thinking of a alpine deck with kicker speakers/subs. Budget is around $600 give or take a hundred dollars.

in my monte i had 2 12s a amp and i custom made a rear deck for 2 6-1/2s the front i just replace the 3-1/2s and put tweeters up front and all together its crispy clear and the bass sounds good on top of it all i still had truck space and track nights i was still able to remove the box

Check out my setup in my build log in my sig. Its all a super budget setup, and sounds good for the $125 I spent.
