I think we need a B.S. Thread. So we can talk about anything and everything with out starting a new thread. What's on your mind? What are you up to? Who is doing what? If you want to talk about some thing but don't want to start your own post, put it here.

I will start. I have been having a hard time adjusting to the idea of my new Monte Carlo. I still have my first car a 79 Monte Carlo and a parts car a 80 Monte Carlo. I fixed up the 79 Monte Carlo when I was in high school, back in the 90's. The two cars sat for ten years next to farm feild. The clear coat had peeled of and a engine fire cooked the paint of the hood. Sanded and primer the hood though. Mise have done a number on the interior in both cars. OK now to the point. I always said I was going to rebuild my 79 again, but after a good hard look. I decided the best thing to do would be find a better car to start with. So I set out. I new of a real nice 80 Monte Carlo that was sitting in a garage since I was in high school. So I tried buying the car from the guy. He gave me the run around for about three months. I bought and sold a 80 T-top Monte Carlo wile I was waiting for him to come around. That car looked good twenty feet away, but had a lot of issues. The guy came around and sold me the car 80 Monte Carlo turbo. The car had been a show car most of its life. The car had been in fender bender in left rear. Fixed poorly. The paint, frame, and inside of the car is about perfect. I am having a hard time justify modifieing my car the way I want to because it is such a nice car. My wife says who cares, go for it. I find it hard to replace my first love the 79 car. You know what I mean. I think I will keep my 79 for that some day duild. Can anyone relate to my delema?

I say modify it enjoy your time on earth why save it for someone else. I still have my first car I ever bought but I am only 18 so it is my 30 year project. It's a 1969 z/28 factory red sadly it is a rusted stripped sh*t sitting at our farm.

The b.s. thread would inevitably be eradicated because someone would say something beyond inappropriate. Let's just keep this forum about cars, specifically G-bodies.

OAN, time waits for no one. If you really want to keep your car, fix it a little at a time instead of just letting it sit w/o doing anything. Not many people for fortunate enough to be able to do a big resto/repair project all at one time.

I'm not sure what you you are getting at there. I created the thread to be an all around discussion of what ever any one wants to talk about. I just started a entry about what I was thinking about is all. As for my cars, I am going to keep moving forward with the 80 turbo and keep my 79 too. Just have mixed feelings of modifieing such a nice car. Can any relate to that?

Make it fast!!! lol
Love your guys car by the way! If the engine in my car could make twice the factory horsepower I would just crank it up but it's pretty limited. Factory horsepower is 170 horse. I am in the process of building a turbo 96 3800 engine with a overdrive transmission. Shooting for 400-500 horsepower.

Since I merged GD back with the old "off topic" forum I'm OK with this, but remember per the posted rules, politics (all of it) is taboo. Especially now. I'm not even opening that can of worms again.... Just keep it civil. Thx.
