its all been worked, minimal bondo over everything that was cut out and welded just to give it a 100% smooth finish. the lower lights were patched in and metal added.

coming along nice.
yeah, if my funds didnt cut out for the month or so that they did it might be up and running already, today i just got in the 10in 2800 stall tq with anti ballooning plates and the high torque starter, i ordered 2 oil coolers (one for trans one for oil) got the header heat wrap ready to go intake has been port matched and fuel system sat into place.

i have to put back on the rear bumper and do a little minor body work to it, then get the trunk lid worked over (i wish i could find a decent one at the jy) and then just to mount the nose align all the panels again to make sure its right pin down the hood or find a way to fix the mounting holes that were torn away (wish it wasnt fiberglass so i could just weld a nut on it). hit it with the 2k primer i got once or twice and call up my painter to come get the body done.

then
finish the motor up and run through the wires making sure i have head/tail/turn/ lights ignition tach gauges install a fuel cut off and a starter kill switch.

THEN

i gotta find a built th350 or 400 to hold down the nitrous get a custom drive shaft cut. drop a posi unit in the 12 bolt swap in the 12 bolt
and hope theres no wheel hop.

not to mention i need a new front and back window and a plate nitrous setup and to redo the h pipe set up with bigger pipes
lol not much more to go. hoping to have it on the road by the end of tax time a.k.a. car parts check

after 2 hours or so of wire wheeling on the axle tube and perch and a little ultra black grill paint theres a nice new looking rear(at least the tube)

i wanted to get a true before, half assed effort, and after much added care shot. no prep or cleaning to the left then very little in the middle and on the right near the perch it was about 15 mins of wire wheeling

...........dat *ss tho, it needs alot more work but its coming together sexily. spoiler to be added next week mounting the nose and all that good stuff for the last time next week also then a little body work/prep and hopefully the following week it gets paint prepped and primed . then the body will be done until i finish

so i got a new nose skin and when i went to swap skins i found this swiss cheese rusted pos so after a bit more striping i took it up to my buddies shop and we reinforced it all welded some l brackets for support and riveted some flat steel to th back side where the nose mounts for added support of the skin.
