Battery cable issues

I bought a 86 monte carlo that had the starter stolen and the battery cable cut. I've replaced the starter and was in the process of replacing the positive battery cable but I'm having trouble with where to run it to. If anyone could help it would be appreciated and pictures would help greatly… thanks

Any help possible? I know it goes to the fuse box (I think) but I can't figure out to where...

Battery cable to the starter goes to the positive side of the battery not the fuse box.

Ok thanks for the answer, but now I have another question. What about the red battery wire that is with the pink and purple wires to the starter? Or am I misunderstanding your answer?
