MALIBU I’m about to purchase the best battery 🪫 in the world

As far as battery tenders/maintaners, you will get the same amount of answers as "what oil should I use?". Everyone has their ideas. But from personal experience:

I have a multi us 7002 CTEK and absolutely love it. $150 range, nowadays. Versatile and easy to use. It also can possibly extend the lives of weak batteries with the "recondition" feature. Noco makes some good ones too but I've never actually used one.

I also have used and still use the Deltran Battery Tender JUNIOR (not the full sized piece of crap). $30-35-ish. I've had several full-sized BT's, but they never lasted for whatever reason. YMMV, but mine didn't. The BT Jr. is far and away a better choice for Deltran Battery Tender products. Simple. Just clip it up, plug it in and let it maintain (best if battery is already charged to the proper level) as it's only around 800 mA trickle charger depending on when it was made.

Thank you. When it goes dead. Can it be revived? Thanks Dez
Well, you can drain an AGM completely and it will recharge and hold the charge like nothing happened.

But here I mean the point at which it stops holding a charge. It will hold enough to start like new it's entire useful life, until suddenly it won't hold enough to start at all.

When this happened to me I jump started, drove downtown, and was able to start and get home. But next day it wouldn't start without a jump again.

Conventional, you can tell it's getting weaker. AGM, I had no warning.
