Hey, i need some help. I recently had my transmission rebuilt, and overnight, my battery was dead when I tried to crank it. Went to AutoZone and had it tested, bought a new battery and alternator to be safe. When we began to test, guy told me that something had already started draining the battery before it was cranked. I drove it home and tested the wires and notice that two wires were staying on while the car was off.

Need help identifying what they're running two, its two wires Red and Pink, looks like they're running to the starter/transmission but I'm not sure. They're located near the dipstick. Can anyone help me?

If I'm thinking right, the red n pink wires go to the starter solenoid? Think could possibly be switched/opposite of how they are supposed to be connected on the solenoid. You could pick up a quick disconnect battery terminal until u located thee problem.

Pink wire is power to distributer/ switch hot
2 red wires are constant power to fusebox/ always hot.
In the mix should be a purple switch contolled to starter

remove the positive battery terminal, put a circuit tester inbetween the positive terminal on the battery and the positive battery cable, then remove one fuse at a time and when a pulled fuse causes the tester light to go out you've found the circuit that is draining the battery
