A lot of the old tonneu covers had those wood supports in them. Now they use a metal frame.

Try putting that long bow up by the rear window. I only have the three wooden bows & have the longest one by the rear window. It makes it look more streamlined. I have the largest hump closest to the cab & then a smaller hump halfway back & then the smallest toward the tailgate. Yours looks almost like some kinda rear spoiler from what I can tell from the picture.

I just came across this in the random photos and it this car that is part of the Pontiac Historical Collection has a cover that looks similar and the supports look like yours....maybe that is the way your cover is supposed to be..

I guess I will just live with it. I am do not care at all but just wanted to see if there was other options.
