bent spindle?

I've never heard of spindle savers before, so I had to look up what they are lol. Would there be anything good or bad about running them on the street? Since they're only $15.

im not sure if its because somethings bent but on the side i was working on i noticed it hitting the sway bar endlink so it might not be good for street

We never bothered to run spindle savers. They are ok if your racing hard and leaning on cars but if it's a hard hit the saver won't save you. There are spindles for metrics with the steering arm bolted to the spindle so if it bends it's easy to replace. We always had spare spindles but we would never pay $90 for them and it doesn't take long to change them. The savers wouldn't help in this situation. Looking at the angle of the wheel it looks like the upper control arm is bent or the upper ball joint is broken.

start putting adds online for parts for metrics and most tracks have a classified section...

I noticed you have a nice cage in the car, are you not allowed to run a front hoop any bars past the firewall?

nothing can extend past the passenger compartment. basically they want the car to crumple. and yes the rollcage is badass. payed about a 1000 overall for it and Dave Mader III, a former nascar driver, put it in.

found out its my upper a arm. the bushing was pushed out about a 1/2" due to the aframe bending in
