Finished for now. If anyone comes across the proper set of hangers let me know. This will have to work in the meantime. It's not that bad of a jerry-rig anyway. I removed the original hangers and just used the holes to attach these universal types, held to the pipe with a regular muffler clamp.. The other side looks basically the same.
The pipes/mufflers fit up pretty well. There might be some contact with the control arms, I can't really tell. I didn't hear any clunking around when I drove it.
Sounds 100% better than that big ugly can and single pipe. I think my TV cable must not be set right since its hard to get it to downshift. Inside the car while driving the difference is barely noticable. At idle its definitely better, especially when you play with the gas a bit.
All said I'm probably in for less than $400 on this, including the better clamps and assortment of hangers I bought to make this work. Would have only taken a couple of hours if not for hacksawing the muffler out and head-scratching about the hangers.
I should have done the shocks while I was in there but time ran out on me....
They could maybe sit a bit higher, and the right sticks out a bit more than the left... eh, take what I can get at this point.
