"Jump it off", as in jump start using jumper cables. Where did that one come from? Been hearing/seeing that one for the last couple months.

I don't see anything wrong with RPMs. It would be the plural of RPM, think Revolution Per Minute and Revolutions Per Minute. You wouldn't say I run 2200 Revolution Per Minute at 60 MPH would ya?
