Well she's finally done, going to the track this weekend. Here's a quick update.

Got the transmission tunnel and the rest of the interior finished up:

Had to put big block springs in because the front was too low, but here is how she sits now.

It has taken about 10 months to do this build...it's been a long wait, but I hope it pays off this weekend!

Damn that thing is serious! I just realized in one of the original posts you said the stock steering wouldnt fit with the new engine. What was giving you issues? I see alot of gbody big block swaps but never a situation where someone has been forced to go with a rack and pinion.

I used motor plates and centered and lowered the motor in the car. And the oil pan no longer cleared the drag link by a couple inches.

Video from today. I spun all the way through first then finally started to hook up in 2nd. Need more wheels up to get traction. 10.54@124 with a 1.44 60'.

Well I trimmed the big block springs and added Lakewood 90/10 shocks. I'm now pulling high 1.3 60's and 4.0 330's but having fuel issues past that. Best time is 10.3 so far. I'm sure it'll go at least 9.7 once I figure the fuel out...we'll see.

Well the worse has happened. Lost it 3/4 the way down the track after doing a 6.2@109 1/8th mile. That was gunna be my 9 second pass...oh well. Part out. Anybody want anything?

HOLY sh*t! That sucks man! I followed this build close here. PM sent
