H8059 I think they are Headman
Maybe not sure but was surprised that they fit ,hands down the Chevelle headers fit best in all three cars ,well worth the 20$ I spent at the swap meet for themThanks
Could they be Patriots?

That poor Chevelle getting robbed lolMy engine right now is in a 70 Chevelle. My plan is to use the 1 3/4" headers from the Chevelle in the Malibu when the engine comes out.
Not really. Its a closed chamber 468???? with a cast crank that came in the car when I got it. I am building a hydraulic roller 496 for it. Not even going to take the 454 apart because I am not sure I want to know whats really in it. The owner basically flipped the car and knew nothing about it. So from what I was told its a .030 over 454, but its a 468. So those 2 don't go together so I am going 468 and possibly a loose .060 over. From what I can see of the crank parting line outside the engine it looks like a ridge so I am betting cast crank. Haven't changed the oil to look in the pan, but guessing 2 bolt block, possibly 3/8" rods. And its got 702 casting closed chamber heads. The guy again told me oversize valves, but didn't know what size. Yeah they may have a value for a restoration engine as cores, but not much for performance. Overall the engine idles well at 950 RPM in neutral with a sub .600 solid roller cam in it. Vacuum is limited at 10". So for a 3500 lbs Malibu with 3.42 gears it will light the tires with ease since it already does in the Chevelle with 3.31 gears. That poor Chevelle getting robbed lol
That's what I'm debating on building next a 496 or 510 not sure yet I got a fresh set of 026 rect. Heads I want to use ,I got a 427 now one of the most fun engines I've owned very snappy ,all my 454s seem like they take forever to rev up and peaked out alot quicker idkNot really. If you have to buy a crank nowadays might as well go for the 4.25" crank. I have built several 4.25 stroke engines and they run well. My last one was a 565 that made 980 hp at 7200 rpm and 795 torque at 5300. It had no problem revving. That's what I'm debating on building next a 496 or 510 not sure yet I got a fresh set of 026 rect.
