Been to Woodward Cruise twice, once in my Dad's 36 Ford Custom and the second time in my 68 Cougar. Your cooling system needs to be bulletproof if you plan to spend much time at all on the strip. In my Dad's car, we took the entire Saturday to make one full lap in the curb lane. We even got interviewed by My Classic Car's Dennis Gage, right out in the middle of the street. The next year I couldn't even make a lap in the Cougar, it was just not moving at all. More like a parking lot.
If it has wheels, you'll see it on Woodward. The full custom hot rodded garbage truck comes to mind.
