Any suggestions on how to "refurbish" my power brakes Booster? I've sanded it down to bare metal and would like to paint it. Can I spray it with Self-Etching Primer and then paint it with Semi-Gloss Tremclad?

Any suggestions, techniques are most welcome. Thanks in advance,

Andry

I've done a number of them by stripping them, then using black self-etching primer, and then semi-gloss black. All rattle cans. Turns out great, but unfortunately that means if you get brake fluid on it, your paint is f-ed...

Or you could just buy a new one.

Thanks. Brake fluid is a pain, but hopefully spills should not happen -- if they do, then I'll have more problems to worry about than just the Booster.
