I am 54 years old and I have never heard any ridiculous statements like his from anyone that I know.
Almost everybody I know has or has had cars made by overseas companies,some of which manufacture those cars in North America.
My father fought in WW II and he was the proud owner of 2 Toyota Cressida's.

I'll get a pic up tomorrow if I remember. The outside of the car isn't to bad, but I love the interior. Good looking leather wrapped dash with a 6.1 inch touch screen, leather wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters. Leather trimmed seats that are pretty sporty looking and it's surprisingly roomy for a small car. The thing has a little pickup to it also.
