My oil pressure and gas gauge needles bounce eradically almost half sweep. Is there reason for this or fix? Thanks

I could be one of two things. First a bad ground or connection could be interrupting the signal and the gauges react trying to follow along. More likely though is that the dampening fluid inside the gauge has leaked out and no more dampening. Sadly no one has figured out how to fix that besides replacing the gauge.

Actually they do it just to be silly.
Sorry, can't help it.

I would think both sending units. Pretty common issue if all other gauges behaving themselves and are properly correct

I thought might be issue. Ordered sending unit for oil

Let us know if the sending unit does it.

My oil pressure gauge bounces erratically... no other gauges do it. A Sending Unit was on my "to try" list, but if you're trying it, well... 🙂
