Anybody know the actual size of the brake line fitting on the M/C for the front brake line ?
(rear connection on the M/C) I need to get some adapters to install a line lock
and need to go from the M/C to 1/8" NPT

I guess what I meant to ask is are the stock fittings on the M/C metric or standard ?

If metric that's what I'm trying to ID what size so I can figure out which reducer I need
to go to 1/8" NPT

The brake line is standard 3/16"

You need a 3/16 tube - 1/8 NPT adapter

can you get these fittings at the autoparts store? i need the same adapters to install my line lock

You can buy just the fitting itself or a small length of repair tubing and cut the fitting off.

G-body's didn't use metric threaded brake lines.

As for size, a lot of times you can look at the color of the fitting(s). They color them differently to help differentiate the different sizes.

Or you can get an inverted flare-to-NPT fitting like this:

what i need are the 1/8 not adapters for the line lock. i got my line lock used with no fittings. so i need to know what thread size the front brake line is (rear port on master) so i can get the 1/8" adapter to fit the line and line lock and get one for the other side and get a small piece of line from the master to the line lock

The colored fittings are adpater fittings.

Example: putting a tube nut on 3/16" brake line but has the thread size of a 3/8" brake line

Your standard tube nuts will be either natural steel or brass

I believe you need a 1/4" inverted flare - 1/8" NPT adapter. I can check our line lock kit tomorrow to verify.
