Okay I'm just wondering if I can go brighter than the Sylvania Silver Stars? I've got 'em now... But I want something even brighter.... What are my options?

one thing you can do is to to rewire the lights to pull straight off of the alternator. you need to use a solenoid to control the lights.
or you can go the expensive route and get HID's

Who makes a good set of HID's?

those may be better reflectors, but the bulbs look like the usual blue crap. they're definately not HID

if you look at the bottom of the screen when purchasing it asks what kind of bulbs you want. HID or the Blue box kind. The HID's are and extra 89 or something

but HID is more than just a bulb, it's also a high voltage power source. a good quality HID bulb usually costs almost $100, a good power source (sometimes called a ballast) is usually a couple of hundred bucks.
i haven't researched prices in awhile but the best quality kits came from germany and cost about $300, but that doesn't include the lenses

I have Silverstars in my Daytona, and can't imagine why you'd want or need much more unless of course they aren't meeting their full potential. And yes, I do the vast majority of my driving at night.

I recommend going this route- assuming you have some knowledge and experience with wiring modifications. If not, there's some on here who might be able to talk you through it, but be prepared to spend some time on it.

And I believe megaladon6 meant "relay", not "solenoid". 😉

here in Germany we have to use seperate Lights (no sealed beams)
best combination is a Hella or Bosch H4 Lamp with Philips xtreme bulbs,
i donno if they are betters then xenon conversion cause they aren't allowed here.

You really need those stupid lights that blind all oncoming traffic? I wish they would outlaw those things. Why people need brighter than the basic halogens is a mystery to me. Maybe we are all just getting to spoiled lol.
